Will the keys on a laptop work if they are glued?

A couple of buttons fell off on the laptop. If you stick them on, will they work?

Most likely they will not, because it is very difficult to stick the button to the key lift mechanism normally. If the laptop is more or less common, then I recommend contacting a normal service, where they will change the buttons for you taken from donor keyboards.
