Will the hard drive fail?
The home PC has 2 hard drives:
-one SSD with Windows 10;
-Second HDD for the garbage file.
After the work is completed, windows closes quickly and you can hear the HDD drive stopping, with a small click. If I understand correctly, then the power to the HDD is turned off, without a preliminary stop.
Is there a possibility that such a HDD will die soon? How can this be influenced?

The HDD has a shutdown protection system, the heads are parked.
The most dangerous thing in HDD is physical damage like "drop".
And if electronics is destined to burn out, then it will burn out even with rare switching on and off.
The main thing is to store important data in the cloud. Any hard drives can break) so it's better to concentrate on more important things
IMHO if the system turns off correctly, then it turns off the devices correctly. In addition, modern screws are able to park in the event of a sudden power outage.
At me for example too screws are disconnected with click.
The last time I had to manually move the heads out of the working area ("park") manually was in ... uh ... 1993 :) Modern disks have long since removed the heads themselves when the power is turned off - it does not go out instantly :) The
click can be due to the mechanics of the propeller. Check out SMART. If there is a norm there, there is nothing to worry about, you can read profile forums or write to the manufacturer - if he is still alive of course ...
