Will scala be in demand on the Russian market?

Good afternoon.
I've been writing in php for many years, I'm tired of it. Now I am retraining on scala developer. So far so good, the language is wonderful. Plus compatibility with java libraries.
But today I went to hh.ru and, out of curiosity, looked at the number of vacancies for java / scala developers. Scala - 47 Java - 705. After that, I thought a little. Will I be able to find a job in this language?
I understand that jvm is generic. And what is most important is the knowledge of algorithms and libraries. But if the project is written in java, then the scala developer will not be needed there.
Those who are aware of the labor market for this segment, please tell me. Are there any prospects in learning scala as the main language now. So that in a couple of years it would be possible to find a job on it? Are there prospects for such an investment? Or just java?
Thank you.

This statement is not entirely true.
Scala - even as it stands today - exposes a lot more to the JVM than Java does. Scala is not Haskell on the JVM, and the statement that jmv is generic is also not entirely correct. Scala is an attempt at a collaborative reconciliation of the imperative and functional paradigm. All this gives much more opportunities to competently and quickly apply some algorithm to solve a problem. And if in pure Java it takes 50 lines of code to solve a problem, then in Scala it takes half, or even less :), and the code is more expressive! (no need to "bite" here, tasks are different)
The absence of 100500 vacancies on hh is not a cause for panic (~2k on linkedin). The language is young, but it is rapidly gaining momentum. As far as I know, Huawei is starting to cut integration solutions in Russia on scala (instead of Oracle products). So everything is not so bad :)
Odersky and company have very big prospects and ambitions! So, in my opinion, Scala (or its "updates") will still surprise programmers!

For Russia, the rock is a dead market in the coming years, you need to look either at foreign freelance or at vacancies abroad.

Что вы так сильно огорчились, scala разработчиков в разы меньше, чем java, поэтому и разброс такой. Будет она востребована однозначно. К примеру tinkoff банк использует scala
