Will my Unity game offer an update?

Sometimes, when you go into some applications, a standard android sign pops up that an update has been released for the application. So, is such a function sewn into the Unity game, or is it done by Google itself?
And if not, then how to notify users about the update?

you send a request to the server (your own or Google), you find out the current version, if it doesn’t match, you offer to update with a link to Google Play or if you were not accepted there, with a link to the new version.
