Will messages be delivered to RabbitMQ if there is no internet connection for a long time?

Good time everyone!
I want to use rabbitmq in my small test project. Tell me if I understand correctly that if for a while (from a minute to an hour - two), the Internet connection is lost in the sender (that is, the connection between the sender and the recipient), then the messages will be delivered to the recipient when the connection is restored?
And is there any difference whether the MQTT protocol or the standard AMQP will be used?
