Will Linux OpenVZ be enough for PostgreSQL and PHP, or will I have to take Linux Xen (there are no other options on REG.RU)?

I am a novice developer who needs to deploy a PHP site on one hosting with a call to the PostgreSQL database located on another hosting by ip (not to be confused with API).
My REG.RU hoster does not provide PostgreSQL query support on the basic hosting

Is Linux OpenVZ sufficient for these purposes? (because it is cheaper than other options).
And is it very difficult to deploy everything there for work and what might be needed? (they do the transfer of the site itself for free).
Thanks in advance for any help!

Will Linux OpenVZ suffice for PostgreSQL and PHP,...

The question is not put correctly, of course, OpenVZ virtualization is enough for PostgreSQL and PHP, the question is whether the server will work quickly and stably enough under your load. And this is more likely to be clarified in practice. If you have nothing criminal there (in terms of load), then for sure everything will be ok.
Take a VPS somewhere for a trial period or just a very cheap one for a few days, try it, turn it around and set it up. Without experience, you can mess around for a very long time and inadvertently mess up. If the project is rather capricious and a few hours offline means losses, then definitely look for an admin and let him deal with server matters.
