Good day, I came across an article that JavaFX will be removed from version 11 of java, which can be used as an alternative, Swing will remain, but it is much worse in functionality.

It will not be removed, but taken out of the standard library into a separate module. You can continue to use it.
PS It is quite possible that over time Swing will also be moved to a separate module.
PPS And now you know that the source from which you got this is a bad source .
