Will Google now on tap work on MIUI?

I want to buy a Xiaomi Mi4C phone. I wonder if Google now on tap will work on it.

If you unlock the bootloader. Then install custom firmware (CM13 at the moment), then after installing the necessary Gapps, Now on tap will work on Xiaomi Mi4C
