Will Android Studio 3 run on a computer with 2 GB of memory?

I'm getting started with Android app development. And immediately a problem: my PC (Windows 10) only has 2 GB of memory. Will (albeit hanging for now) Android Studio 3 work? If not, are there older versions that you can actually learn from? Thanks in advance for your replies.

It should work, but it’s not worth running anything other than the studio ... it will slow down anyway)

If there is an ssd, then it's possible
Without ssd and 8gb of ram - you shouldn't pry
Ram now costs a penny
