Will an Intel Atom 330 with 4 GB work in one slot?
I want to revive Foxconn nT-330i nettop.
SSD of course.
From memory - there is only one slot, which costs a 2GB bar. And if you replace it with 4GB - will it start or not?
In the reviews everywhere they write "up to 4GB", but I have never met any mention of real operation with 4 GB.
Does this mean that it is possible to work in a 1x4GB configuration, or only 2x2GB (but the second slot is missing and this layout is not applicable)?

I answer myself - it will work, but not fully - the motherboard sees only 3.25 GB out of 4 - the BIOS displays: "System memory: 3584 Mb". In Win7 (both 32 bit and 64 bit) it says: "RAM: 4.0 GB (3.25 GB available)".
The video memory itself takes 256 MB, where the rest is incomprehensible. In the BIOS, everything related to memory is locked from changes (gray text).
There is a speed increase after increasing the memory to 4 GB according to tests, but it is very insignificant, but I don’t feel the difference between Win7 (32 bit), Win7 (64 bit) and Win10 (64 bit) live - responsiveness everywhere is very fast for its class.
Maybe it makes no sense to use a 64-bit system?
By the way, SO-DIMM DDR2 with one 4 GB bar is still a rarity.
