Will a DBA certificate be a good help for a back-end developer?

Any back-end developer works with databases in one way or another, very often with relational DBMS. As for me, working with the database is the most pain in back-end development. Especially when there is a lot of data, the load is high and there are performance problems. I decided to level up in this topic and thought - but should I get certified for the sake of a line in my resume?

In large companies, development and DBA involve different positions, but what if they are combined? How big is the demand for such specialists? Will employers look at a DBA certification when hiring a backend developer?

DBA is not a "line in the resume", it is a very complex and extensive area that requires very exhausting study (unless, of course, we are talking about courses "dba senior in 7 days!!!").
My advice is go and maybe become a DBA, which is much more honorable, profitable and respected than a backend developer.

Those who work exactly as a DBA are not courses.
Where DBA is really a separate position, and not a system administrator who makes backups, there DBA is a database developer, used to be mostly Oracle (SQL / PL), where business application logic was transferred to Oracle database procedures, and it was believed that Oracle such calculations will perform better and faster, as he knows better how to work with his own data.
Now the procedures already exist in both postgres and cloud databases.
Usually, a DBA specialist understands better how an application should work than a front-ender or even a back-ender - precisely from the point of view of business flow, more precisely, business flow data.
And there is also a division into highly loaded projects.
True, lately, keeping logic in databases has gone out of trend, and there are more highly loaded applications and cloud databases.
How does this relate to backend development? Well, I don't know...
Just learn well in SQL and nosql, and then decide where you want to specialize.

In my opinion, if you already look at related areas, then DevOps or AWS.
