Why won't Ubuntu boot after removing Gnome?

Hello! I put this question on Ubuntu 17.04 x64 Gnome 3, then demolished it. After rebooting the system, I see only the loader with the Gnome logo and nothing else.

The problem was solved by removing the gdm3 package.
