I installed ubuntu 18.10 as a second system, everything worked, then I connected Nvidia drivers instead of the usual xorg driver, after that the system does not boot, the video driver cannot start, the Nvidia gt 1050ti video card

Good afternoon . I had this problem on a laptop with a discrete graphics card. Installing nvidia prime helped me. You don't need to edit anything in xorg, you run prime on X, you switch the video card to nvidia and after a reboot it starts with nvidia.
PS If we are talking about Ubuntu Desktop.
