Why won't my external hard drive open?

Hello. In the morning, out of the blue, the external hard drive "died". When connected to a USB port, the disk is connected by a signal. Shown in device manager. When you try to find it in disk management - disk management freezes, the same thing happens in Diskpart. What is the treatment algorithm? I tried another cable, nothing changed, the drive behaves the same way.
