Why won't BIOS start?
Greetings!
Faced such a problem:
I collected an old system unit for experiments (AMD AM3 platform). I installed the OS on it, the software and everything works, but if the system suddenly freezes or the reboot / shutdown occurs not by the regular means of the OS, then the next time it is turned on, a situation is possible when the BIOS does not start, on the "no signal" monitor, while all the fans are spinning, hard too unwinds. There are no speaker signals. I slipped working bp and video - no reaction. After standing for some time, the system can easily turn on (but there is no sequence here - it can turn on in five minutes, or maybe in a few hours).
Which way to look and who to sin? Motherboard, BIOS, battery?

On a cold hangs, warms up - does it work? I had this with swollen conders on the motherboard. Take a closer look at them. Or get a POST card.
