Why so much traffic (studying the top similarweb)?

The other day I was studying the rating of the similarweb, and in the Arts And Entertainment > Humor section, I noticed a resource - diply.com . For such resources, the main traffic is created by the "backbone" of a loyal audience - direct visits (for example, 9gag, Russian - yaplakal), then the share of direct visits and search traffic is ~ 1%.
Main traffic. comes from FB, while the resource is presented in the social. networks with one public, the average frequency of publications is only once a week.
And the main page of the website (for me personally) is completely empty.
