Why sketch, xd, figma are so popular among designers?

For me, it is more convenient to work in Photoshop. I tried sketch, xd, figma and it all seemed like terribly uncomfortable crap. As for me, these programs are well suited for prototyping, but nothing better than Photoshop was invented for real work. Am I a farmer?

Simple answer: Figma is better for front-end design.
Long answer.
Photoshop is not very suitable for interface design. Yes, it is a combine and you can do anything there, but there is no prototyping, components, convenient artboards, and callout styles. For sure, stacks will be brought to Figma soon and the tool will get even closer to development.
Yes, if you are alone, you can work in any way and in anything. But there are some agreements in the teams, and few people would like to rummage through dozens of psds and typeset from them. And someone would like to, but it depends on the company.

The tool is selected depending on the task.
For example, in our company (in real combat projects) they use figma. It is more convenient to work with her in a team. Conduct presentations. Change something quickly during the presentation itself, etc.
Also, someone may historically develop that a person began to work with a certain program. And then you don't want to go to another one.
In general, there can be many reasons.
Do not worry and work)
PS I use Photoshop myself)

All familiar designers, after switching to figma/sketch, remember the days of working in photoshop like a bad dream.

Sorry, but in modern realities, yes rather than no. And this is not caused by the fashion for this or that instrument. Photoshop, in my opinion, is the undisputed leader in working with raster graphics. But it is not suitable for creating interfaces.
I'm not a designer, and maybe I just don't know, but how to make a normal vertical rhythm in photoshop? And not on the baseline, but on the lineheid?
How to work with components in Photoshop?
Well, the list goes on, the main message is that specialized tools for developing interfaces have appeared on the market, figma, skech or something else - it doesn’t matter.
