Why poppy eats a lot of RAM?

I HAVE A MACBOOK AIR 2013 8 GB RAM, 6 of which are constantly gobbled up. I don’t even have parallels, I work in safari, from running applications: Tweetbot, Safari, Mail, Telegram. Help, what to do, otherwise it eats charging like a monster.
Thank you!

@Mizonov

In the latest versions of OSX, apple professes a new ideology of memory management - "If RAM is not used, why did you buy it?" This is normal, files are cached in RAM for quick access. If you start a parallel, the system will move and find a place, if there is nowhere to move, it uses swap.
If you liked the old ideology better, roll back to SnowLeopard.
