Why plugins for smooth image enlargement do not work?

I can't figure out why the image enlargement plugins don't work.
In any article, when clicked, a full-size image opens in the same window. Tried different plugins - the effect is the same. What could be the problem?
Installed from plugins:

Tried disabling page caching, js\css compression - doesn't help.

This task should not be solved by plugins. There are theme styles and scripts for this.

In the screenshot you provided, I don't see the lightbox plugin.
They most likely work, but they don't connect to your images. This may happen for various reasons. Open browser console and look for js errors. Usually, to work correctly, you need the Img tag to be wrapped in an a tag, which should contain a link to the full-size image, and sometimes you need to add a certain class. In general, different plugins, different scripts, different rules...
