Why phpstorm?

Should I choose phpstorm? For now, all I need is syntax highlighting. Buns - I have not yet understood their expediency. For example, when working with a project, I still connect auxiliary tools - for example, the same xampp, and I work with git through git bash, etc. How wrong am I, in what way is the storm indispensable?

Like all JetBrains products to a single one, it is refactoring ("smart" replacement in the code), auto-completion (pop-up windows with hints).
