Why not Selinux? on centos 6?

Good day to all, I bought an SSD-VPS Server on centos 6, I'm trying to install a MariaDB Galera cluster, the instructions say to disable

# sed -i.bak 's#SELINUX=enforcing#SELINUX=disabled#g' /etc/selinux/config
# setenforce 0

what if I don't have such a folder and config?

Well, there is an assumption that you did not buy a full-fledged VPS, but a freak called OpenVZ, which is only suitable for storing data there (which, by the way, some hosters honestly warn about). It turns out to be simple: if at the command
you have an output like this:

nf_nat_pptp 4397 0
nf_conntrack_pptp 11526 1 nf_nat_pptp
nf_conntrack_proto_gre 6619 1 nf_conntrack_pptp
nf_nat_proto_gre 2772 1 nf_nat_pptp
ip_gre 9575 0

(or similar) - this is an honest VPS, if it is empty there - this is OpenVZ

It looks like the hoster supplies the VPS with changes in configs, etc., I highly recommend searching the hoster's website for a list of such edits, if not, contact support, perhaps there are such edits that it's easier to immediately go to another hoster.
