Why might Tickets not count the number of views?

Performed a clean install of ModX Revo 2.6.5 and installed the Tickets component. I created a section for tickets and filled it with test entries. Noticed this strange thing. The placeholder always outputs 0 (zero), even though the post has actually been viewed multiple times. What could be the problem?

Check the setting to count guests.
