Why may push notifications not work in the release version of the application?

We uploaded the application to the epstore and the push notifications stopped working.
A checkbox in xcode that allows push notifications is worth it, a release certificate on the server is also worth it. If I put through xcode everything works.
Where to dig?
UPD: even if I put the version from the xcode release, everything works. but worth downloading from testflight or appstore doesn't work
