Why isn't SMART supported in "system information" on Mac OS?

On a MacBook Pro Retina 13 2015 (MF840), the System Report says:
SMART Status: Not Supported
Is this normal? If not, how to fix?

Looks like you don't have an HDD, but an SSD. And he has slightly different self-test algorithms that do not always transmit SMART data to the computer in the form that the HDD did.

In short, for all versions like "so this is an SSD": bcd0fdfc8ad742d7b0d5972b9de50d65.png
(See below where SMART status is). True, I have this drive connected via Thunderbolt.
But the built-in (regular) HDD shows the following picture:
That is, there is no information anywhere about SMART at all.
