Why isn't pvmove working?
One of the disks in the volume group has failed. I added a few more disks to the group, the total size exceeding the failed one, and moved the data to them with the pvmove command. After replacing the disk under warranty with exactly the same one and adding it to the group (vgextend), it began to release the previously added disks one by one. On the last pvmove swears: No extents available for allocation
What could be the problem? After all, the size of the volumes and the file system did not change.
Where to dig?

Apparently, the new 2 disks are larger in volume than the disk that was changed. Accordingly, when you added them to the group and removed the problem disk, the group size increased. You had to return the disk not as old as the volume, but as 2 disks that you inserted temporarily.
