Why isn't Group Policy applied and filtered out?

Created OU. Created a gptest user inside.
Created a group policy on this OU to install the printer.
Filtering "Authenticated" applies the policy, but if you remove "Authenticated" and put the gptest user in the filter, then the policy is filtered out with the reason "unknown". Moreover, if you add another computer of this user there, then the policy is applied.
The computer is in the standard Computers container.
It feels like something is missing. Do not put users and computers in one OU.
