Why isn't Apple Activation Lock removed?
Good afternoon!
Today, my father had an iPad 2 3g (the old version of which) lay in the sun, after which his friend took the iPad to take a photo and maybe pressed something .... it's not exactly clear.
As a result, the iPad issued the following: Activation Lock.
As you can see in the screenshot, under the hidden characters, the apple id is indicated and I can say 100% that this is exactly our apple id. After entering the password correctly several times, the iPad writes that this Apple ID cannot be used to unlock, use the Apple ID that was used when setting up the iPad. Tried the old password, but it did not help either.
Prehistory. The iPad was hand-bought. At the beginning, I used it with my Apple ID, then I gave it to my father and we also tied the Apple ID to him and everything was ok. 6 years used iPad and everything was smooth.
I have already read articles from Apple and it is doubtful to me that the first owner could somehow influence the iPad, provided that the Apple ID has already changed 2 times, which means that the Find my device function has got rid of.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? How to be?
ps changed the password - did not help. wi-fi is connected - there are no problems with the Internet connection.

Recently, the old tablet was also knocked out for activation, the correct password came up only from the 3-4th attempt.
Don't believe... or believe. In general, this is logical, but it is not entirely clear why those support does not help to guess. In general, here's the point - when registering an Apple ID, you can specify [email protected] or [email protected] For the database and Apple security, these are 2 different accounts, but for Yandex account holders, they are the same. That is, you can log in to Yandex using any variation, but not in Apple))) On the 3rd attempt, one nice girl from those support helped me understand that I entered a different number of characters.
Trite, funny, but logical. And it doesn't matter if you have Apple, Microsoft or Android...
