Why is xscreen-saver so CPU intensive?

I sat down to bring beauty to the OS, looked at various standard screen savers, and calmly closed the settings. Then I noticed that all the guardians that I looked at calmly continue to work in the background and the percent is loaded at 100%. I did the right thing, but the result is not correct.

Set your own (time \ date, your own format ala %m% d% Y) and there will be no synchronization with servers, change the font defaults and the font itself (verify it with the welcome phrase −−− sudo⋅apt-get⋅upgrade-alternative⋅ −−font:...−−). Currently using (⋅PAM⋅) in xscreen-saver, that's the load. Font I put there Italic (italic).
