Why is Wordpress not seeing Woocommerce?

Hello. There is a problem with the website. I can't see the Woocommerce plugin in my WordPress admin, although I have a woocommerce folder in the wp-content/plugins folder. Accordingly, the plugin is inactive. If you try to install it through the admin panel, it shows that such a directory already exists. If you remove the woocommerce folder from wp-content/plugins and try to install it again, then an error pops up that the update failed, the woocommerce folder reappears in the plugins folder and everything goes around like this. What to do?
