Why is wodpress not responding to changes?

Good evening, something strange is going on, I was working on the site, I created a page, I wrote
<?php /* Template Name: Name */ ?> I
created a page in the admin panel by selecting this very Name Template for it, everything seemed to be going fine, but then I noticed, that the page stopped responding to changes, could delete the data and WordPress still displayed this page smoothly.
I immediately thought about the cache, cleared it, changed the browser, everything remained
Looked through a proxy, everything remained
Wrote to the hoster, disabled nginx checked on the server, no solution was found
I have been trying to find an error for the second day, but everything was unsuccessful.
I deleted this file where it says <?php /* Template Name: Name */ ?>
But, wordpress still see Name, it's just miracles.
The question is how to deal with it and what is it?
