Why is there no obfuscation of email in user contacts on Toaster in order to protect against robots?

Actually, the question is in the topic title.
Is it really so difficult for developers to add at least minimal protection against robots? Or better yet with CSS: Protect e-mail address with CSS only

The robots do not visit the toaster, because It is pointless to send anything to the postal addresses of schoolchildren.

First, on the Toaster, the links look like:
That is, the mailto scheme is used to make it convenient for users: they click and immediately write a letter. The protection you provided will prevent mailto from being used.
And secondly, if you do not want your email to get to the robots, do not publish it anywhere. Any such "protection" can be bypassed.

So I go to your profile and ... I don’t see E-mail. The user's contacts are displayed at the request of the user. If a person is engaged in freelancing or consulting or something else, his email should be displayed in an open form.

Any good resource should give users the right to choose.
It has been provided to you - you can show your email, you can hide it, you can specify another method of communication in the description, as you did.
What is the problem?
