Why is there no built-in paginator in symfony2?

The documentation even has an example of rules for paging routing, but that's about it.
You have to choose and study third-party developments.
How can one explain the absence of such a familiar tool as a paginator in the base assembly?

I see no reason to keep it in the basic configuration ... connect the bundle for example this bundles.knplabs.org/knplabs/KnpPaginatorBundle and you will have page navigation
