Why is there a warning bar in internet explorer 8?

On my ie8 site, I get this message:
"For security reasons, Internet Explorer has blocked content from displaying content with an invalid security certificate for this website."
How to fix it.
I mean edits in the site code and not in the ie settings.

This means that something is loaded via https, but there is no certificate or it is invalid.
Fixed by installing a valid certificate or returning the resource via http.
