Why is the value entered into a numeric field immediately reset?

Faced such a situation: if the line (TimeLine) is present and I enter a value in the field (Input), the value is immediately reset. If the line is removed (wrapped in a comment), then the field works as expected (the value is saved). Could you tell me, please, what is the reason for this behavior of the field?
