Why is the screen resolution lost after upgrade?

Hello. I’ll make a reservation right away that I’m the last noob and only the other day I began to get to know Linux closely.
The situation is this. I installed Linux Slax https://www.slax.org on a flash drive. This is a Live distribution based on Debain 9.
The system out of the box, so to speak, immediately determines my screen resolution of 1920-1080, but if I do an apt upgrade, then after a reboot the resolution becomes 1280-720.
I have come to you for help. Please tell me what to do, what commands to type in the console to diagnose the problem and solve it?
My video card is Nvidia gt630.

Most likely, during the upgrade process, the drivers of your video card flew off (if, for example, proprietary drivers were installed).
I'm not familiar with the Slax distribution, but it's usually enough to just download the drivers from Nvidia's website and install them.
