Why is the screen blinking in Ubuntu when watching a video in full screen?

I am working in xubuntu. Very strange things have been happening recently.
Yes, I also use virtual desktops.
So, if I display the video of the player or browser in full screen, then the screen starts blinking. In this case, in some cases, a running application from one desktop is replaced with an application from a completely different one.
All this is strange though.
What can you say about this?

Most likely a problem with the drivers for the card. I advise you to carefully update them)
