Why is the scheduled task not working?

The operating system is Windows Server 2003. Task Scheduler created a task that runs a cmd file. When manually starting the cmd file, it works without errors (stops the running service: net stop service). But when you run it from the scheduler, nothing happens, the last result is 0x80. The scheduler log also shows only the execution result 0x80 and no additional information. The same accounts are used in the scheduler and manually. Why does cmd not work from the scheduler? Can you suggest another way to stop and start the service on schedule?

Problem solved, thanks to everyone who replied. Added exit command to cmd (closes cmd after executing commands). Each previous run created a new cmd window, do not close it at the end. As a result, at some point, the task scheduler stopped launching new ones.

Rights missing? Most tasks from the scheduler only work when logged in.
