Why is the Product category base translated by the product_categories shortcode and how can I disable it?

I have three categories of products displayed on the main page of the store using the woocommerce [product_categories] shortcode.

Product base link is not set, that is, the standard product-category is used. There is a localization file in the Ukrainian version of the site, but it is not translated. A correct link like https://www.pxxxxxi.com.ua/uk/product-category/hea... is shown, that is, a working one. The Russian version of the site should have a link https://www.pxxxxxi.com.ua/product-category/hearty... but an incorrect link https://www.pxxxxxi.com.ua/product-category/hear.. .That is, I thought, the widget takes the translation from the localization file. But when I changed the translation text in the file from product-category to product-category, nothing changed. I also left the product-category translation field empty, also to no avail. Tell me where and what to look for so that the links become the required type.
