Why is the pip install command not working?

Hello. After I installed a new version of python I can't use "pip install <library>" command.
For example, I want to install the "os" library.
Writes:
ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement os (from versions: none)
ERROR: No matching distribution found for os

This is a standard library and does not need to be installed.
