Why is the password not "sensitive" to the language?
Greetings!
The question is not super important, but maybe someone knows the reason. Noticed that several of my passwords that were created at the same time are not language sensitive (but case sensitive). Though in Russian, even in English I type, the password is "correctly typed." But of course, if you just type some characters, then the password will not be correct, so I think the reason is in the character encoding, but I would like to know for sure. Has anyone experienced this or knows anything about this?

the security question is the password " where? "
for example - I like to set the axis to an American, and only then Russify the user (and / or have another "amerokos"). as a result, in Windows, in Linux - the default start screen is English, and may not even know about the existence of the Russian layout (until you pull the appropriate "strings" in the settings)
so that they can be read in browsers
not characters, but pressed keysvery doubtful. now all browsers are sandboxes for web applications,
It all depends on the algorithm used by the software/service/website manufacturer. The entered password is checked by the developer's code and it is always different (may contain features and vulnerabilities).
Hey! I noticed here that, for example, by typing his password in English in the Russian layout in VK, he calmly accepts it. Perhaps this is such a feature.
Most likely, not characters are read, but pressed keys. And if so, then the layout does not matter. You can even have the Japanese language selected, the keys and their codes on the keyboard will not change. It is quite reasonable to read the password in this way. Especially if the site is international (multilingual).
