Why is the MERN stack deprecated?

It seems that both React and Node are considered to be actively developing platforms, why is the technology stack considered obsolete? I wanted to study Full Stak with this particular set of technologies.

Deprecated package and repository, which was called mern for the sake of hype. Pochermu deprecated, it is written in the quote you cited: no longer actively maintained.
