Why is the Linux/Ubuntu installer throwing a "141" error?
INSTALLER CRASHED when trying to install Linux Mint 18/17/16/ ; Ubuntu 16; 32&64bit.
My setup:
___________________
1x 80gb hdd SATA II has current partitions:
- Disk C-ntfs-windows 8.1;
- Disk D-ntfs-data)
What I tried:
__________________________________
- "SecureBoot" from BIOS is disabled.
- Loading "GParted LiveCD", sees all partitions. Allocated 20GB of space by cutting from disk D; and also the same thing, but with formatting in ext4 - did not help.
- I tried to install from a DVD disk and from a 4GB flash drive (I inserted it into different ports)
- I reset the BIOS to default.
- The OS image was glued with the latest versions of Rufus, Universal USB Installer, LinuxLive USB Creator
Add. info:

- Someone said that the installer does not see HDD partitions because I have "2 main drives"
- And someone who solved the problem by " sudo mkfs -t ext3 /dev/sda " - full format to 1 partition.
- And someone else, try to boot from the CD by pressing F6 , and going into nodmraid mode.
