Why is the laptop shutting down for a long time?

I recently installed an SSD in my laptop. Standard scheme: SSD instead of the former HDD, and HDD in place of the drive.
After these manipulations, the laptop began to turn off for a long time. Specifically, Windows shuts down normally, the screen goes blank, but it does not turn off completely and can work in this state with the screen turned off for another 5-10 minutes.
Can anyone suggest possible reasons?
PS Also, even before the addition of the SSD, there was a problem with the fact that the laptop freezes tightly, which has survived to this day. I'm guessing that the reason is in the HDD (for a long time there was a similar situation that the laptop hung when the HDD left the port - it was poorly fixed). There is a suspicion that the problem with a long shutdown and freezing may be related.

If you think that the HDD may have a bad connection, pay attention to the SMART parameter C7 (199) - UltraDMA CRC Error Count. In case of problems with loops and similar situations, it often differs from zero.
If you are not sure how "healthy" the hard drive is, then use the diagnostic program .
By the way, SMART can also be viewed using R.tester.

Perhaps there is a switch in the sled into which the hard drive is inserted, usually there are three modes, I don’t remember exactly which mode is responsible for what, but I can say for sure until the correct mode is set, the shutdown may not occur at all. I looked in the reviews for my specific adapter model, because there was exactly the same problem, when I set the correct mode, everything began to turn off as it should.
