Why is the github account not being added to webstorm with either a token or a login?

The github account is not added to webstorm. I tried with both the token and the login password, it gives an error: incorrect credentials - incorrect data. I think this may be due to the fact that before webstorm I uploaded repositories through the console, and there I logged in through a token, but I didn’t generate a token, I just entered my password and everything worked. Could this be related? If so, does anyone know how to fix it?

Go to Preferences / Settings | version control | Github and check if any accounts are set, if so, try deleting them and then logging in again by adding a new account on the same page.
