Why is the edited message not saved?

Hello.
I want to be able to edit a post on click. But for some reason, after editing the message is not updated to a new one.
I don't know what I need to do to get it updated (preserved).

Everything is saved. And why don't you see it - because you output the default value instead of the saved one.
