Why is the content ignoring the header with the position:fixed property?

Maybe I don’t understand something, but by applying fixed-top to the header of my design, all subsequent content is published from the top of the page, and not from the header. How to make website content come after the header avoiding margin-top to the height of the header?

Because fixed.
Elements with this property drop out of the stream and do not participate in the calculation of the position of other elements.
Use sticky.
