Why does the count of artboards after saving in EPS 10 not go from one - 1234 although in the original file everything is exactly like this and I didn’t rename the artboards, didn’t create new ones and didn’t delete them, I just took a new file for 4 artboards and saved them in EPS 10 and got this as a result.
And with 7? where did the extra + 2 values ​​to artboards come from? What could be the matter I want to sort out once and for all with this problem for me it is very critical to ask for help.

I probably tried almost everything, I tried to convert art to artboards, I just tried to duplicate artboards with the alt pressed, I tried to set not to 1-4, but to 1,2,3,4 when saving, I crossed all the checkboxes in the save window, I tried to save 4 separate artboards in EPS CC 2015 and then save them into 4 separate EPS 10 artboards and none of that worked. The numbering is always 7.8.9.10 or 6,7,8,9 is it just me or everyone?

Guys, EPS 10 old format. There were no artboards back then. You need to save it separately, or in later versions I don’t remember exactly, but it seems like with CS3.
