Why is the "description for the announcement" not displayed on the page in the list (bitrix:news component)? "Detailed description" is displayed instead. In the component parameters, there is a checkbox "Output announcement text:". If it is possible to explain more simply - a teapot.

Option 1: no announcement;
2nd: a detailed description is displayed in the template.
This is offhand, but in general a bunch of options why.
Look for the place of output in the code and see what is output and under what conditions.
