Why is text from blocks in pug not showing up on other pages?

Good afternoon.
There is a main template.pug file and a child index.pug.
I added a css block to the template, where I include styles, and an empty css block to index.pug, but the styles are not displayed in the compiled index.html file.

Where did I make a mistake?
I also connected the scripts and there was no error.
