Why is Stylus unpopular?

Why do most jobs list only LESS/SASS? What's wrong with Stylus?

Stylus baby.
SASS is more commonly used in rails. It is there right out of the box, so many do not bother to change it for something.
I see LESS more often in any old projects and / or where conservatives work. In defense of LESS, I saw an argument that it is easier for an ordinary layout designer to relearn it. So that.

Stylus is fine, it's just too young, since it appeared 4 years after sass. I think it will still gain popularity.

Stylus is like CoffeeScript. There are connoisseurs, but nothing more.

Popularity has to be earned.
The success of some projects depends entirely on advertising. Without it, things like MongoDB just don't work.

1. Documentation is bad.
2. Why is it needed when there is libsass for node.js?

It's just that people like to complicate things. For example, after Stylus, I'm not very happy with the prospect of writing these unnecessary characters, such as curly brackets and semicolons and other garbage words like @include . Everything is cool with the documentation. The only thing that delivers is inadequate highlighting in some code editors.
And everything else is cool. I've seen several large projects use Stylus by default.
